On Tuesday, April 22, 2014 attorneys Matt, Steve and Joi from the Clawson & Clawson family law team attended the 14th annual Light of Hope Fundraiser for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of the Pike's Peak region. CASA provides many services to young people in the Colorado Springs community, with a focus on providing legal support to children who have suffered child abuse, neglect and been exposed to severe domestic conflicts. This year's event took place at the Antlers Hilton Hotel on Cascade Ave., and it was in part a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the organization. Over that time, CASA of the Pikes Peak Region has helped 10,000 children.
