I spent over a year with another lawyer and was not getting anywhere with my case. I was told that I was “weak” and would need a lot of work to be “court ready.” On several occasions, I left my previous lawyer's office in tears (and not exactly from the details of my case), confused and unsettled. I could not discern what needed to be done with my case, and I felt pretty lost. I finally decided to see if it was worth it to find another lawyer and contacted Matt Clawson. I initially spoke with Marsha Breford. I poured out my heart to her over a long conversation about my situation with my children and their father. Marsha relieved me more than I can express in a review. I was instantly comforted, and this was before the initial consult with Matt Clawson. Marsha, in my opinion, was a godsend. There aren’t enough stars here comparable to her worth. She was and is kind, compassionate, and hardworking (she answered emails and phone calls out of office hours, which should never be expected). Her kindness was and is unyielding. I am so thankful to have met and worked with her to this day. When I did meet and start working with Matt Clawson, it was a breath of fresh air. Mr. Clawson (Mike) was my salvation after my work accident. Despite being Hispanic/Latino and black, this did not stop him from solving a double case (Worker's Compensation and personal accident) for a period of two and a half years. Mr. Clawson and his wonderful team assisted me and helped me in my process in different ways: emotionally, psychologically, and personally. They resolved several setbacks in my favor with the insurance of my case.
