Melissa is the newest addition to Clawson and Clawson. She stepped into
her new role of Family Law Paralegal with vast knowledge, as she has prior
experience not only in family law, but also Probate, Foreign, and Criminal law.
Melissa’s Paralegal career began in Nebraska, where she lived for
many years. She then broadened her spectrum when she accepted a Managing
Paralegal Position with a criminal defense firm in Boseman, Montana, where
she performed extensive trial work on several high-profile cases.
Melissa grew up in Broomfield, Colorado, so when the opportunity arose
to change focus on her career and return to Colorado to again work in
family law, she was elated, as she feels working in family is her passion.
She enjoys working directly with the clients and the challenges the area
of family law entail. She emits great empathy for each individual and
their distinct sensitive situation.
When Melissa’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family.
She has a son in the Army, two daughters and a grandson. Melissa coached
high school softball and an elite traveling team for many years. Melissa
is eager to share with her family all that Colorado has to offer, as she
loves the mountains, trails, fishing, and skiing. Although Melissa has
not lived in Nebraska for many years, she continues to revel in her camaraderie
with the Huskers.
We consider Melissa a definite asset to the firm and we look forward to
her tenure here.
